Questions to Discuss or Ponder:
- Recall a situation in your life where a guide made a difference. How did they help?
- Jesus went through a very stressful time in Matthew 14. What causes you the most stress?
- Name something that causes you to remember that Jesus is watching over you always.
- Are you facing a storm currently? Can you share what it is? Where are you finding Jesus’ presence in it?
- What difference does it make that Jesus is the one who invites, not us?
- Recall a time when you tried to fix “it” rather than turning it over to the One who can.
- When have you experienced the tension between fear and faith?
- Have you responded to Jesus’ invitation?
