  1. What questions do you hear searching people ask? What questions do people ask you about your faith?
  2. Who in your life is similar to the Samaritan woman?
  3. Why did Jesus “have” to go through Samaria? In what way has Jesus come through your neighborhood?
  4. What’s the difference between being committed to Jesus and encountering Jesus? How have you encountered Jesus?
  5. In what way has the Church been a source of hurt or frustration for you? How has it been a source of healing?
  6. What does it mean that the church is God’s ‘Plan A’?
  7. Who in your life brings healing by their presence? Do you have a “soul friendship”?
  8. With whom can you share the living water?

Four whole days of basking in the unity and the camaraderie that the Olympics are known for. The world comes together for these games to compete in a wide variety of sports and demonstrate that we can get along, at least for a couple of weeks. World leaders usually attend, too, and one of the prominent attendees in Beijing was Russian president Vladimir Putin. All eyes were on Putin because his army had been establishing itself along the border with Ukraine. And four days after the Olympics were over, that army moved.
