  1. What would be a modern equivalent of exile? Who in our world experiences being “far from home”? How might they relate to Isaiah’s message?

  3. How do you understand pride? Why is pride so threatening to the Christian life?
  4. What ways do you need God to “un-dragon” you?
  5. Why does thankfulness help us overcome our prideful ways?
  6. In what way(s) are you serving others? How does service challenge your sinful pride?

Four whole days of basking in the unity and the camaraderie that the Olympics are known for. The world comes together for these games to compete in a wide variety of sports and demonstrate that we can get along, at least for a couple of weeks.
