Questions to Discuss or Ponder:
- When was a time you felt powerless? Describe that feeling and how you reacted.
- When you think of someone or something that is ungodly, what comes to mind? What is it about that which pushes God to the margins?
- What is the difference between a “righteous” person and a “good” person? Why, according to Paul, is someone more likely to die for a “good” person?
- What does it mean to have an enemy? What does it mean to be enemies with God?
- Share examples of Jesus’ teaching that you believe are the most important. How are those teachings summed up in the cross?
- Why is Jesus focused on loving each other on the night before the cross? In what way should that command shape our lives every day?
