50/20 Vision:
“You intended to ______________ me, but God intended it for ___________________.”

Questions to Discuss or Ponder:
  1. Why would Joseph’s brothers create something he could easily know was a lie?
  2. What does it mean that forgiveness contains an element of “carrying” the other person’s burden?
  3. What does it mean that 50/20 vision is a combination of sight, foresight and hindsight? Which one do you need to develop better?
  4. How have you understood the doctrine of providence? What new insights did you gain in this study?
  5. Of the three “spirits” needed for 50/20 vision, which one is lacking most in your life right now? How will you develop it?
  6. How does the story of Jesus tie into this part of Joseph’s story?
  7. Is there an area of your life where you are struggling to trust? What step(s) do you need to take today or this week to move in that direction?

Scripture for the Week:

Tuesday - Acts 28:17-31
