Questions to Discuss or Ponder:
- How many of the “top 5” richest people in the world are you aware of? Why are we more aware of them than of the needy places in the world?
- What does it mean to “be content”? What is the opposite of that attitude? Which do you see more of in your life?
- What do you consider “essentials” today that were once “luxuries”? How did the change happen?
- How does “desire” tempt us? What happens when we give into the temptation?
- Is Paul correct, that the “love of money is the root of all kinds of evil”? How do you see that happening in our world today?
- How much of your time and energy was spent today in thinking about your finances?
