Questions to Discuss or Ponder:
  1. How many of the “top 5” richest people in the world are you aware of? Why are we more aware of them than of the needy places in the world?
  2. What does it mean to “be content”? What is the opposite of that attitude? Which do you see more of in your life?
  3. What do you consider “essentials” today that were once “luxuries”? How did the change happen?
  4. How does “desire” tempt us? What happens when we give into the temptation?
  5. Is Paul correct, that the “love of money is the root of all kinds of evil”? How do you see that happening in our world today?
  6. How much of your time and energy was spent today in thinking about your finances?
  7. What are you most grateful for today? How does gratitude combat greed?
