  1. What is your earliest memory of hearing about or learning about the Holy Spirit? What did you think the Spirit was like?
  2. Picture the disciples waiting for those ten days. What do you think they talked about? What did they do? How well do you wait?
  3. Of the various ways Jesus described the work of the Holy Spirit, which work do you most need in your life right now? Why?
  4. What does it mean to be truly “enthusiastic”? When are you the most “enthusiastic”?
  5. Are you open to the work of the Holy Spirit in your life? Are we open to his work in our church? Why do you say that?
  6. How have you experienced the guidance of the Spirit?
  7. One of our membership vows is to “witness.” What does that mean to you? How do you witness?
