Questions to Discuss or Ponder:
- Discuss this statement: “The best way to love someone is to listen to them.” How have you experienced the truth of this statement?
- What helps you “tune out the noise” as you pray?
- The angel called Gideon “Mighty Warrior,” though he wasn’t yet. What nickname might God give you?
- What do you think of the practice of “putting out a fleece”? Have you ever done that? What happened?
- Is our problem more a lack of knowledge or a lack of obedience? Why do you say that?
- Have you experienced an “abnormal occurrence of an everyday event”? How do you experience it as a message from God?
- What three elements need to be present for a calling from God? Give examples, either of when all three were present or one (or more) were missing.
