  1. What has Pentecost meant to you in the past?
  2. Imagine yourself in the Upper Room. How would you react to what happened on Pentecost?
  3. Why does Jesus refer to the Spirit as a “comforter”? What does a “comforter” do?
  4. If the church is “not a building,” what is the church? How can we recognize “the church”? Why do we not “go to church”?
  5. In what ways should a believer be impacted by the power of the Holy Spirit? In what way(s) have you experienced the Spirit?
  6. Which symbol of the Holy Spirit communicates to you the most? Which one has the most meaning for you?
  7. What is the Spirit calling you to do this week in his power?
