- What differences were there between Abel and Cain? What similarities?
- When have you found yourself in the midst of a “rivalry” situation like these two brothers?
- When have you experienced being “downcast”?
- What do we see when we “look God in the face”? How does God’s character show up in the midst of difficult times?
- How have you experienced the truth that something happening “there” affects those who are “here”?
- How does “love your neighbor as yourself” reflect the truth of our interconnectedness to others?
- How does the practice of communion show us our connection to each other?
- How will you be your brother’s and sister’s keeper this week?
