  1. When have you experienced a huge change in your life, a massive disruption? What happened? How did you experience the presence of God in the midst of it?
  2. In what way(s) has our culture confused what love is? What are the substitutions we offer for love?
  3. How does Ruth’s story show us the nature of God’s love?
  4. What significance does the story of Ruth have to the overall genealogy of Jesus? Why is she included in Matthew’s list?
  5. What does it mean to you to be “spoken for”? How have you experienced that in your relationship with Jesus?
  6. In what way(s) have you experienced that your story is not done yet? What is God doing in your life right now that is evidence of that?

Four whole days of basking in the unity and the camaraderie that the Olympics are known for.
