Four Laws of Peace and Contentment

Questions to Discuss or Ponder:

  1. What images come to your mind when you think of peace?
  2. How does the Biblical definition of peace contrast with the world’s definition?
  3. Where do people look for peace today? Why do so many go after substitutes for peace rather than looking for true peace with God?
  4. If God’s will is for us to have peace, why do so few seemingly find it?
  5. Read Philippians 4:4-8. Which part of Paul’s message do you most need to live out today? How will that help you live more in peace?
  6. Which of the “four laws of peace and contentment” are most important to your life right now?
