  1. What questions define your life? Where have you found answers?
  2. Recall a time when someone’s “last words” had an impact on you or someone you know.
  3. What does it mean to you when Jesus says, “I will not abandon you”?
  4. Where do people in the world today seek life? truth? a way? How do those things not satisfy?
  5. Which of the three promises (way, truth, life) do you most need at this point in your life? Why?
  6. Where do you find hope in today’s world?
  7. Have you trusted in Christ for “the life that is really life”? If not, why not? Will you do so today?

Four whole days of basking in the unity and the camaraderie that the Olympics are known for. The world comes together for these games to compete in a wide variety of sports and demonstrate that we can get along, at least for a couple of weeks. World leaders usually attend, too, and one of the prominent attendees in Beijing was Russian president Vladimir Putin. All eyes were on Putin because his army had been establishing itself along the border with Ukraine. And four days after the Olympics were over, that army moved.
