  1. What differences does light make in your life? Are you affected by a lack of light in any way?
  2. What are the ways light impacts our world?
  3. How does light “overcome” darkness?
  4. Share about a time when you had just enough light for the next few “steps” in your life. How did that feel? How did you respond? What happened?
  5. When you think of Jesus as the Light, what images come to your mind? How do you understand the features of light applying to Jesus? Are there other “features” you would add to the list?
  6. Why do you think this is the only “I am” statement Jesus also applies to us?
  7. What difference does it make if truth is “relative” today? How do you respond to such claims?
