  1. What does it mean to be a child of God? How do we live as a child without being childish?
  2. Which do you neglect the most: vertical or horizontal relationships? Why?
  3. If we love God who we cannot see, why do we have so much trouble loving others whom we can see?
  4. When have you experienced a “random act of kindness”? What did it mean to you? How did you respond?
  5. How can the church be more like the penguins in the video?
  6. In what way(s) can we as a community be more inclusive?
  7. In what way(s) do we need to do better at sharing life? What might be one first step you can take?
  8. What are you holding onto and not sharing with the community of faith? Why?
